Client Overview
FunkaarCaptions is an AI-powered subtitle generation studio tailored for short-form video creators creating content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts in regional South Asian languages including Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, and Bengali.
The Problem
Mainstream video editors like CapCut frequently break cursive RTL Nastaliq fonts, misalign Hindi Devanagari matras, or enforce expensive subscriptions and watermarks on free tiers. Desi creators had no reliable tool to produce high-engagement captions with native typography and karaoke timings.
Our Solution
We engineered FunkaarCaptions with native RTL Nastaliq typography support (Jameel Noori & Gulzar), bilingual English loanword recognition, word-by-word karaoke animations, and in-browser rendering. Creators can customize presets and burn 1080p MP4s or export .SRT / .ASS / .VTT without watermarks or login.
